Her work can be viewed in Louisiana Watercolor Society shows, gallery shows (i.e. the Space Gallery), and several other revues. She has participated in numerous community service art events including the WYES art auction, St. Louis Cathedral's Gala Auction hosted by Gayle Byrd of Huber House Gallery, and the Louisiana Children's Museum's Art Fest.

 
She has published note cards based on her original paintings and has sold them to galleries and individuals in the area.  Her body of work tends to be colorful and expressive and posters of her work can been viewed on amazon.com, art.com, and cafepress.com/samholidayfun.

The use of color is a strong feature in her subject matter. Subject matter includes nature (landscapes/florals), pet portraits, and abstracts.

She received a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University New Orleans. While at UNO, she did complete two art classes and continued to attend classes outside of the collegiate environment.  She has attended workshops given by watercolorists Paul Jackson, Joye Moon, H. C. Dodd, and Lou Jordan.  She has also been to lectures and demonstrations by Bobby Chui, David Mack, Tommy Yune, Stephen Quiller, and many more artists.
 
 
 She is currently teaching art classes in Jefferson Parish for children
(5 - 14). Find out how your child can register for the next class.
1 hour class for ages 5 - 8 is $32.00 w/o supplies.
