Supplies Needed:

Watercolor Paper: 8 x 10 or 9 x 12 cold press - minimum lb. 140 (is preferred)

Sponge
Foam Board
Painters Tape or Masking Tape
Staple Gun or Thumb Tacks

Professional or Semi Professional Watercolor Paints -
(Preferred Brands: Cheap Joe's, DaVinci, and Maimeri)

Colors Needed: Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Viridian, Camdium Yellow, Permanent Orange

Watercolor Brushes (sizes needed): 4, 6, 8

Container for Water (Make used Distilled water If Available or an option Financially will keep the integrity of your paints)

2 White Plastic Plates



Cheap Joe's, DaVinci, and Maimeri

Preparing Your Paper:

Take thumb tacks or staple gun and attached paper to piece of foam board. Wet paper to saturation point. Let dry for 2 hours or until paper is no longer damp. Take painters tape or masking tape and tape over the tacks or staples. Make sure the the tape is placed evenly on all sides.

Preparing Your "Palette" : Squeeze Some Paint Out of Each Tube onto one of your plastic plates

Swish paint brush in water and make sure it is
not dripping wet.
